biography
Natalia Bakshi was born 1977 in Rostov/Don. From 1994 to 1999 she studied German language and literature in Russia, including a 4 month study trip to Vienna. In 1999 she returned to Vienna for her studies and worked in 2001 as cultural manager for the International Confederation of Theater Unions. After that she worked at the Office for International Relations at the “Russian State University for Humanities” (RSUH) and in september 2001 she also commenced theology studies. Getting her doctorate in philology in 2002, Natalia Bakshi has worked as a lecturer for comparative history of literature aswell as a German teacher in the Russian-Swiss Centre for Studies and Research. In 2003 she cofounded the Russian Unit of Germanists and was voted onto the board.
Natalia Bakshi wurde im Jahre 1977 in Rostov am Don geboren. Von 1994 bis 1999 studierte sie Germanistik in Russland, einschließlich eines Studienaufenthaltes in Österreich an der Universität Wien. Später war sie dort auch Diplomandin, um dann ihr Studium mit dem Magister abzuschließen. Im Jahre 2001 übernahm sie das Kultur- Management in der Internationalen Konföderation der Theaterunionen, ebenso arbeitete sie im Büro für Internationale Beziehungen an der Russian State University for the Humanities (RSUH). Im September 2001 begann sie ebenfalls ein Studium der Theologie, 2002 folgte der Doktor in Philologie. Natalia Bakshi war tätig als Dozentin für Vergleichende Literaturgeschichte und im Russisch-Schweizerischen Zentrum für Studium und Forschung als Deutschlehrerin. Im Jahre 2003 gründete sie den Russischen Germanistenverband mit und wurde als Vertreterin in den Vorstand gewählt.
